So... assemble-it-yourself has been the only way to go. I purchased the media stand from this collection first, and was pleased with the sturdy construction, the attractive finish and hardware, and ease of assembly. This dresser was no different, and I'm pleased with it for the price. The drawers glide easily (plastic runners) and have stops to prevent pulling them out too far, they're plenty roomy. The ebony color is very dark chocolate and black with a soft satin gloss. It's quite neutral and blends well with antique Persian carpets and Tiffany style lamps, though it would work with modern decor, too. Most of the pieces come with a touch-up marker to fix nicks or scratches. I've also purchased the tall chest, nightstand, and mirror. They're all good, basic pieces to decorate...
