I carefully went through all the offerings at Lowe's and Home Depot and on this site and the construction of this unit is on par or better than any other washers out there. The metal connections are definitely superior to plastic, no matter how you look at it! The spray gun is ruggedly constructed and has survived several drops. The ground-fault interrupter circuit in the plug is a nice safety feature. The attachments are useful and can be changed easily.The only slight problem I had was if the pump hits an air bubble it goes a little nuts. So my advice is to run your garden hose to clear the air out of it before hooking it up. Alternatively you can hook up the garden hose and then just press the spray trigger on the gun (without turning on the pump) and that will let water flow through the unit and clear it of air pockets...
